This provides a significant opportunity for someone to create a truly scalable database.  It's my goal to be that someone!  :-)<br />In the past, a large distributed system like this would have been infeasible for a single developer (or small team) to develop.  (Or deploy, for that matter.)  But nowadays a lot of the heavy lifting has already been done by Amazon and a number of open source projects.<br /> right<span style="color:red;background-color:#fcc;"> yet.</span><span style="font-weight:bold;color:green;background-color:#cfc;"> yet.
