8. 12/24/2008 5:01:00 AMBig media companies might be interesting - to hear their side and their visions for the future. Many fail to realize they have such great opportunity right in NYC with all the startups.
9. 12/24/2008 10:52:00 PMActual technologists - computer programmers, new media users, and people who understand how technology works and where it's going (not just business people)

19. 1/6/2009 1:44:00 PMAnyone who uses technology (in the digital sense) to communicate and do business here in NYC, not just the software guys, media, entertainment, etc.
20. 1/6/2009 4:23:00 PMUniversities w/ strong entrepreneurship programs
21. 1/6/2009 4:38:00 PMThe local press -try to get more coverage. Also maybe hook up with other groups for joint events.
22. 1/6/2009 8:11:00 PMAT ISOC-NY we do run events of general interest to the Internet community. We could possibly co-sponsor occasionally. http://isoc-ny.org
23. 1/10/2009 3:04:00 PMAdvertising community
24. 1/10/2009 6:28:00 PMmore topic specific events. i thought the talk on the openID stuff was good. the topics we've been having have been really broad
25. 1/10/2009 9:40:00 PMMaybe students from local universities and colleges.
26. 1/11/2009 12:43:00 PMExpand the 'community' of site members and partipants
27. 1/11/2009 3:31:00 PMIn answer to the above (27), we're planning on organizing a small MatchUp Camp event (25 people) followed by a larger one (100 people). More on this to follow.
28. 1/11/2009 5:39:00 PM1) vendor technologies that are still in the lab. 2) People who work globally (dev teams, leverage global resources, implement technology in global markets). People who repurpose technology to emerging markets. 3) maybe industry people to discuss tech failures: "In Hindsight" meetings. I think positive results overshadow negative and that we learn so much more by studying failure. I always wanted to setup developer panels where we discussed the choices that did not work to learn from mistakes.

30. 1/11/2009 11:40:00 PMOther NY event and networking groups, including non-tech. Media Bistro (media), Wall Street, ad agencies, Google, Facebook

34. 1/16/2009 6:41:00 PMMayor Bloomberg as a response to his address yesterday which included initiatives for entrepreneurs. I could do that as I know the guy who runs his NNC TV and I have a nice photo of me and Bloomberg at Gracie Mansion and am shameless in general at reaching out to anyone
35. 1/20/2009 6:09:00 PMWe should consider partnering with other regional growth engines in Boston and DC. I think the proximity to these other major academic, tech and government centers can give us a competitive advantage.
36. 1/26/2009 9:02:00 PMCollege students, especially those about to graduate who may wish to leave the NYC area. We need a constant stream of talented young people in our midst and in our ranks.
37. 1/28/2009 11:14:00 PMDon't have time to really think about it. But if I did, I could probably come up with some good responses.
